Tina's sterling effort in the 2016 London Moonwalk
On Saturday May 14th while many of us were snuggled up at home, Tina Lunn of Molsom & Associates was pulling on her trainers and sparkly bra ready to embark on a 26.2 mile Moon walk! Organised by the breast cancer charity Walk the Walk, the London Moonwalk celebrated 20 years of Moonwalking with a carnival theme. The charity brought together over 15,000 walkers, both men and women, of all ages to raise money and awareness for breast cancer, a disease which is close to Tina's heart.
Tina, who completed her walk with her niece Laura, said “ We completed several walks in training leading up to the Moonwalk but it was inspiring being in amongst so many people and walking round London in the moonlight!”
Tina aimed to raise £500 in sponsorship money and with a few weeks to go and still only half way there Andy Molsom pledged to ensure she made the target. She has since surpassed this raising £516.34 and Andy has kindly donated a whopping £500 bringing her total to £1016.34
Tina added “I feel really overwhelmed by peoples generosity to such a worthy cause, especially Andy! The whole experience left me exhausted but I am so proud to have been a part of this fantastic event uniting against breast cancer!”

Our competition winners..........
It is not everyday that you can win something for nothing but our 3 competition winners did just that! At our Maui Jim Sunglasses day, Saturday May 7th 2016, we held 3 fantastic competitions. Our winners are pictured above receiving their new glasses.
Photo left shows Ella Simpson with Lens expert Bridget. Ella won the free prize draw we ran on the day, and has chosen herself a free pair of Maui Jim prescription sunglasses.
Emily Vere, in the photo to the right with optical assistants Katy and Liberty, chose the winning name "Charlotte" on our children's "name the balloon person" competition. Emily has won herself a pair of children's sunglasses modelled in the photo.
Finally a massive thank you to the entries of our Facebook competition, and to all who voted. We had one clear winner! Sue Baggott who is pictured centrally again with Bridget, with her free pair of non prescription Maui Jim sunglasses!
