At Molsom Optometrists, we specialise in complicated Contact Lens fittings, so that we can now fit more people successfully � for example correcting higher levels of astigmatism and reading corrections, such as varifocals.

Frequently asked questions about contact lenses

Question: I am worried that I will not be able to get contact lenses in, how will I know if they are in correctly?
Answer: We offer a comprehensive service to teach you everything about lenses from patient understanding staff, which includes unlimited time to practice handling the lenses before you take them away. We will always ensure that you are fully confident with putting lenses in as well as taking them out, before you leave.

Question: How comfortable are contact lenses?
Answer: Modern contact lenses are very comfortable, most people remark that they can hardly tell that they are on the eye. We can pop a lens on the eye as a FREE short tolerance trial, you can use this to help you choose new spectacles, or even walk around town to try them.

Question: What if I have a problem with them?
Answer: Once you have been fitted with lenses, we are still here for further advice, we pride ourselves on the level of care that we provide - you are never on your own.
