We strive to give everyone a tailored approach to eyecare, where we will base decisions on which spectacle lenses you need from your everyday needs, whether you require basic lenses or the best varifocals. Not everyone requires the same lenses, so we spend time understanding your requirements, and designing a solution to give you the very best vision and most comfortable spectacles to wear.

Varifocals

Not all varifocals are the same.

Varilux© lenses can now be personalised to meet your individual needs. Some Varilux lenses are designed for your work or hobbies. Some are tailored to the unique way you wear your spectacles, to your prescription and even to the design of the frame you have chosen. Varilux lenses are designed this way because your visual needs are unique.

Transitions

Transitions© lenses help reduce glare as they automatically adapt to outdoor light intensity, improving contrast so you can see more clearly and feel less eye fatigue, which gives improved everyday vision and comfort.

Also Transitions lenses block 100% of the harmful UVA & UVB, & have UV400 protection; this provides the eyes with the protection needed from sun exposure which can cause damage to the eyes. For further information see www.transitions.com.

Crizal reflection free lenses

The best scratch resistance, most transparent, most dust resistant. Dust won't stick during cleaning. Rain and grease slide off. With no glare, smudges, dust, dirt, oil, water or grease you will see as clearly as you did the first day you bought your new lenses. Airwear

Airwear lenses offer so many benefits to wearers that almost anyone is a candidate - whatever they do. Not only are they thinner than standard plastic lenses, they are more impact resistance and protect the eyes from UV which makes it the ideal choice for active wearers and children.

There are a variety of thinner flatter lenses available which our experienced staff can advise you about, all which offer 100% protection against harmful UVA & UVB* rays.

*UV rays can damage the retina just as they can harm the skin.
