We are still working in a safe way

When you would like to visit the practice please call ahead and book the next available appointment as we are still by appointment only and with a locked door. Our customer limit, due to the limited space in the practice and staffing levels , is 6 so at times we may not be able to help at the door unless an appointment is booked. We are still a mask wearing practice due to us being a clinical environment so please remember your mask or we can provide a complimentary disposable mask when you arrive.

Please bear with us. COVID has, like many businesses, effected our small business in a big way.

We currently have not been able to start our usual recall system, inviting customers to come in for their eye examinations. If you are experiencing ANY problems we would encourage you to call us ASAP on 01775 713366. Please leave a message if it is out of hours or our staff are busy and we will get back to you as quickly as we can. You will have the information on your last prescription issued at your last eye examination as to when you are due your next check, if in doubt please call.

We are continuing to advise that all of our customers take advantage of an advanced eye examination giving you peace of mind and the best examination we can offer. Our Platinum members automatically are entitled to this examination as part of their membership plan. If you receive NHS funding you will pay £57.29 (£79 advanced exam fee minus the NHS funding of £21.71). By having the advanced examination you will get an extended appointment with your optometrist, up to 40 minutes, where they will talk you through your scan results and complete the eye examination.

We would also like to let our customers know that we are booking several weeks in advanced due to the back log of customers wanting to be seen at Molsom & Associates. We have additional Optoms helping us to provide additional clinics to try and catch up. Thank you for being patient and understanding we are doing everything we can to get you seen. If you have any concerns with your sight our Optical Assistants will take details to be triaged by the Optometrist at the practice that day.
